Normally, a day spent teaching first the Gay's "Beggar's Opera/(with 'Brecht's' Threepenny Opera)" and then John Carpenter's "They Live" later on would be a delightful day, however long it took to get through, but on this day I am still coughing and sneezing and my head is spinning and contemplating the commute and the classroom is a bit dire. Students are handing in papers and so a grading marathon beckons with its skeleton hands as well.
