This Week's Wall Street Rally

You may not have seen many stories or images about the thirty thousand folks who thronged Wall Street for Thursday's AFL-CIO rally protesting the bailouts of the financial fraudsters and demanding real reform of the catastrophic crony and casino corporatist clusterfuck still having its way with our world and our lives. After all, since the protest didn't reflect the views of the 18% minority of white-racist gun-nuts many of whom rely on government programs while decrying government programs as islamofascisocialisticfeminazelitist -- that is, the Republican Party Base -- but instead expressed the views of most of the rest of us, in crowds that actually look like America looks, young, old, brown, beige, straight, queer, cantankerous, creative, jubilant, enraged, engaged, why would corporate media outlets direct serious attentions there, after all? This post from dKos diarist "Eddie C," fills in some of the gap. Take a look and refill your batteries.
