The fact that Al Franken made Joe Lieberman stop talking one minute before he wanted to isn't something I care about at all. It wasn't until I saw all the headlines and high-fives this completely meaningless ritual smackdown was generating across the left-blogosphere that I began to grasp the full extent to which those who still are grasping for some scrap of meaningful healthcare reform are well and truly screwed.
